Vou citar o que Leonardo Da Vinci escreveu sobre os médicos em suas anotações. Não poderia ser + atual. E ele não presenciou o advento dos planos de saúde, a falta de ética médica, o cifrão na frente, o corporativismo, a sucatização da medicina no nosso país, mas pelo visto a questão é universal e atemporal:
"Every man wishes to make money to give to the doctors, destroyers of life; they therefore ought to be rich.
Learn to preserve your health; and in this you will the better succeed as you shun physicians because their drugs are a kind of alchemy about which there are no fewer books than there are medicines.
Medicine is the restoration of discordant elements; sickness is the discord of elements infused into the living body.
Make them give you the diagnosis and treatment for the case from the saint and from the other and you will see that men are elected to be doctors for diseases they do not know." p.278-279
